(have a look at these lyrics to the song below)
YOU ARE THERE
By Jimmy Robeson
When I don't have the words to say,
You are, You are there.
When I don't have the faith to believe,
You are, You are there.
You are, You are there.
You're my hope for tomorrow,
The peace for today.
You're the joy in my sorrow,
The truth and the way.
On this long road I've traveled is one thing I could say,
You are, You are there.
When I can't see the first from the last,
You are, You are there.
When my heart is broken and weak,
You are, You are there.
You are, You are there.
You're my hope for tomorrow,
The peace for today.
You're the joy in my sorrow,
The truth and the way.
On this long road I travel is one thing I could say,
You are, You are there.
You're my hope for tomorrow,
The peace for today.
You're the joy in my sorrow,
The truth and the way.
On this long road I travel is one thing I could say,
You are, You are there.
You are, You are there.
You are, You are there.
When I choose to get down on my knees,
You will... still... be... there.

Why then is it so hard to know that He is there when circumstances lead you to feel otherwise?
A very pretty/powerful song! I wish I had an answer to your question though, so many things and emotions come in that it's hard to relax and know He is there.
